A Survey Of Computer Music Education In Normal Universities Of China:Concentration In Discipline Construction

The paper firstly gave a brief instruction to the computer music education in Chinese society and university. And secondly it did a survey of100normal universities which covered31provinces around China, concentrated in its discipline construction. Through the survey, the paper summarized current developing level of computer music education around China normal universities. Based on the survey and analysis, this paper then gave three main suggestions for the further developing:1. Offering computer music courses to more normal university students in the music schools;2. Enhancing the graduate teaching and researching of computer music in normal universities.3. Trying to establish the inter-discipline teaching and researching among schools in normal universities.To explain the reason of these three suggestions well, this paper used three typical cases. And at the end of the paper, author summed up the current situation of computer music education in normal universities of China and its deficiency, also gave her own thinking of its further developing.
