An Observation On The Acquisition And Error Analysis Of Chinese Interjection Based On Native English-speaking Overseas Students

Interjection of modern Chinese is an indispensable part of our dailycommunication, literary and artistic works, and dramas. With its flexibility, languageshows a greater sense of aesthetics. And its functions can not be replaced. But justbecause of this flexibility, it causes the biased error of foreign students when they usethe interjection in their study. And then it affects their daily communication. Theforeign students who learn Chinese as a second language seldom use Chineseinterjections when they express their feelings. They often use their mother languageor choose other sentences to substitute the Chinese interjections. This form ofinterlanguage exits in different levels of learners, and influence their communicationwith Chinese people.This paper investigates the teaching situation of Chinese interjections based onthe Advanced Spoken Chinese. And investigate the foreign students’ acquisition ofinterjection by questionnaire. The results are the same as we estimated that the foreignstudent could not master this kind of word. Analyzed the reason of bias error, wefound that students were effected by the overgeneralization, negative transfer ofnative language, cultural transfer, teaching mistakes and incomplete learningstrategies.Based on above investigations, we can solve the problem by using the newteaching method of performing type, the nature approach and font style teachingmethod. Pay more attention to interjection teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage, and actively guide students to use the interjection to improve their languageskills.
