Analysis On The Current Situation Of Chinese Language Teaching In Thailand’s Huachiew Chalermprakiet University

Analysis on the current situation of Chinese languageteaching in Thailand’s Huachiew Chalermprakiet UniversityRecently, with the development of China’s nationalstrength continuously increased, China’s position in the worldcontinuously upgrade, Chinese has become a popular languagelearned by people in many countries. With the warming-up of the‘Chinese fever’,as the close neighbor of China， thegovernment of Thailand continuing to relax the policy on theChinese language，Chinese teaching got great development inThailand，many levels of Chinese teaching have been offered inThai schools,as the university under the overseas Chinesecharity,the Chinese teaching in Huachiew ChalermprakietUniversity have a long history,and already form the Chineseteaching scale.The present paper is a study on the teaching ofChinese majors in Huachiew Chalermprakiet University，in orderto find out the problems in the teaching reality and proposesome suggestions for improve of future teaching quality.The current paper divided into five parts：the first partintroduced the background and the significance of the essay,include the meaning of the research, the range of theresearch，Previous research results and so on;the second partintroduced the history and present situation of Chineseteaching in Thailand,the Chinese education of Thailand’suniversities and the Chinese education reality of the Huachiewchalermprakiet University,especially stressed the curriculum、teaching material、faculty、multimedia devices and so on.thethird part analysis existence questions in the Chinese teachingof Huachiew Chalermprakiet University; Thai teachers andvolunteer teachers’ problems; students’ problems and theUniversity’s problems; The fourth part is to give suggestionsabout the aforementioned problems, except the suggestions thatsummarized by the writer by self-activity,the paper alsoreferred to some suggestions put foreword by parts of theteachers and students;The fifth part is the summarypart,introduced the structure of this paper,the innovation、merits and drawbacks of this article.This research found that the Chinese teaching of theHuachiew Chalermprakiet University have a long history and havealready formed certain scale,but in some aspects such as teaching、teachers、students and the school’s management,theUniversity still have some problems.The author has proposeddetailed suggestions so as to try to solve the current problemsand help the university authority to improve the teachingquality.
