Rising along with the times, internet is referred to as the fourth media, and onlineadvertising and webmedia are now burgeoning vigorously beyond traditional media. Asquoted from Hegel, the sense of hearing and sense of vision are from two great cognitiveorgans of human beings, which are strong enough for finding and observing objects at a longdistance. Such a special characteristic of vision takes an unshakable position in the process ofcommunication. The charm of image lies not only in its function of transmitting informationthrough a straight-forward and popular method to affect our thought and emotion, but also inits effect of realizing interracial and inter-era communication without language as theintermediary.Traditionally, graphic design set paper as the physical media with format designcombing reading rules and guiding people’s vision to the theme of format, while in moderntimes, the newly-rising media that set internet as the conductor on electronic screens servesreaders based on the classical printed visual operating procedure. Screen readers now enjoymuch independence in fulfilling their objectives only by touching sliding buttons, and theyfind this way more interesting as format designers include interactive technology in theirdesign. Integrating pictures, words, images and sound into a whole one, interactive formatdesign fully stimulates senses and offers more information, and greatly improves readingefficiency.Art is a mental and practical process of continuous innovation and negation; design is awork that dependent more on continuous progress and innovation. Without enthusiasm ininnovation in designing, the world we faced will be dark and void. Format design aims to seekfor new forms of language through graphic design. The novelty of format layout is decisive inbringing about strong requesting effect, so as to arouse interest of visual readers and haveinformation extensively transmitted. Following the coming of the digital age, what modernindustries care about most is whether service and products can be shown in digital form.This paper is mainly about including “interaction” in the representation of modernformat design, as “interactive” format has an epoch-making significance in modern formatdesign, now that technology is closely mixed with format design. Also, the paper analyses thefuture designing form and developmental trend of interactive format design, and concludesthat the platform of internet provides a new stage for displaying visual transmitting design.
