With the booming development of China’s economy, many goodopportunities and creative source are given to the field of graphic design.Many works of Logo directly or indirectly absorb Chinese elements in theirdesign conceptions, which better inherit, develop and innovate Chinesetraditional culture so as to show us more beautiful, more pleasing, more loftyand more intimate logo works. At present, it is very crucial for logo worksto absorb Chinese elements which can assure its promising future.Logo is a kind of symbol composed of characters and figures and itdepends on public transmission. Logo is an unalienable part of visualcommunication. Logo has a lot of elements, which often represented byspecial figures. By people’s ability of identifying symbols and associativeability, logo transmits special information. A good work of Logo stands for asuggestion, a strategic positioning, a clear set of values, a unique sound. Ittransmits a viewpoint with a signal. Logo is the Band’s DNA. Because of itshigh frequency, wide applications, It is easy to cognize and remember.“Like cultural element, like Logo design”, thus, it is important to betterrepresent Chinese culture’s natural charm and better adopt it into logo design.Furthermore, as designer, we should apply Chinese elements in a scientificmanner so as to better develop Chinese culture potential value. ModernLogo design should have national moods and be globalized to some degree.If so, we can produce excellent Logo works.To create a Logo of personalized, cultural connotation is the inevitabletrend of development of the logo design.Chinese Logo design of the21st century is entering a new era, demandingrational thinking and sense of national responsibility. Contemporarydesigners’ task is to absorb the essence of Chinese and foreign cultures, and develop their own culture, and to have Logo design nationalized andmodernized.
