| TianHan, an outstanding playwright and poet, drama activist and the modern drama of the earliest founders in China, create nearly one hundred of drama in his whole life. Because of his outstanding talent and fruitful achievements, TianHan is well-known in the region of the modern Chinese literature. Based on the reading carefully of TianHan’s drama, This thesis tries to the comprehensive understanding of the historical process of nationalization of TianHan’s drama.This thesis is divied into three parts. The first chapter,it study TianHan on Chinese drama nationalization of exploration, first in terms of rich national awareness of history in the present. In TianHan drama writing to clarify the threads of basis, from the contents of drama, grasp the nationalization of the plays tendency. Show its national life, to create national character, carrying forward the national spirit constitute the basic theme of TianHan drama writing. Second, the drama art as the main body, rich poetic tradition, from the ups and downs of the legendary, romantic style a few discussed, grasp of the basic features TianHan plays art; TianHan drama from China’s traditional opera of nutrition, contributed to the individual character formation show up and the Chinese traditional opera can’t cut off blood affection; TianHan physically for opera reform, change the idea, and innovation in content and form, for the modernization of Chinese traditional opera clear direction, and in the play’s nationalization and look after practice. Finally, based on the concept of people’s theatre interpretation, combined with austral club dramatics practice, the further understanding of TianHan drama the searching process of nationalization. TianHan to inclusive open mentality, achievements of Chinese drama self character and the world significance, showing the rich visionary everybody style and still has a national responsibility.
