The end of the20th century, with the rising power of human ingenuity, science andtechnology are advancing by leaps and bounds, the degree of social productive forcesexceeds the historical sum; cultural traditions are bound to encounter and experiencevarious shocks, and as a result,the person’s view of society, nature, philosophy of life,ethics and aesthetics occured intense and profound changes. On the basis of the Britishscholar Abrams ‘s theory about ‘literary elements’, the narrative research scientistArthur·Asa·Berger proposed literary activities of the five elements: social, writer, text,audience, media, and the media is the core. As linkages of any literary elements have togo through the media. Arts and culture and the media have a complex entanglement ofcoincidence relations, and even the Community. With the arrival of the ‘Second MediaAge’ which brought about by the rise of the Internet, the medium of literary creation,creative body, creative content, and characterization of meaning, value function, theway of spread are a great deal of innovation. This chapter furtherelaborats fans how to use the media to empower the Internet novel communityself-building networks that are fiction fan base and engage in cultural practices.Thesecond chapter discusses the characterization of the reality of fan culture of the internetnovel community, and points that it has both the common general of fan culture and itsown personality. It is characterized by specific performance: text selection, theconstruction of native language in the fan group, the shape of fans group participationand the fans group rating and allocation of rights and other aspects. Fan culture also hassome of the characteristics of popular culture, internet culture, Asian culture andbusiness culture, so showing the overall characteristics of a variety of culturalintegration.
