On The Aesthetic Implication Of Xue Tao’Poetry

Xue Tao was a famous music prostitute and more of an outstanding female poet in Tang Dynasty. Her father was an official of the court. She lived in Shu following her father during her juvenile period and joined the Music Hall to become a music prostitute later. But she was distinguished by her poetry. Although she was quick-witted and good at writing poems and well-known for her poetry, her whole life was rough. The research of Xue Tao has been hot and the contention of a hundred schools of thought has emerged since the initiation of reforming and opening policies. But the discussions on the content and style of Xue Tao’s poetry are mostly scattered, similar. Furthermore, there has never been the comprehensive and in-depth excavation on aesthetic implication of Xue Tao’s poetry. This paper tries to combine Xue Tao’s life experience, social status and her poems left, link the era background of the middle Tang Dynasty and Shu regional culture, start the interpretation of Xue Tao’s poetry from the aesthetic perspective on the base of extracting and adding the former research achievements and further explore the aesthetic implication of Xue Tao’s poetry.This paper includes three parts:the introduction, the text and the conclusion. The text is divided into three chapters to expound, generally as follows:The opening chapter is about Xue Tao’s life and the overview of Xue Tao’s poetry, preparing the study of Xue Tao’s poetry for background materials. The second chapter mainly excavates the aesthetics foundation of Xue Tao’s poetry composition. The specific contents are the mapping in Xue Tao’s poetry of Middle Tang Dynasty era spirit and Shu regional culture’s influence on Xue Tao’s poetry. The third chapter from the two aspects of unique aesthetic meaning and the unique conception construction explores the aesthetic implication of Xue Tao’s poetry.
