| Seligman put forward “psychological capital" concept basis on the human capitaltheory, positive psychology and organizational behavior theory in2002.which hasattracted the attention of researchers. As quasi-employed students, their professionalquality and psychological quality of training, has been the focus of attention ofeducators. This study focuses on the exploration of students’ psychological capitalstructure and works out the corresponding questionnaire, combining the "universitystudents occupation decision-making self-efficacy questionnaire" and “Hollandoccupation tendency questionnaire" measurement tools for the investigation of651university students, in order to explore the relationship between the psychologicalcapital status, occupation decision-making self-efficacy and the occupation tendency.The study shows that:(1) The university students’ psychological capital is in good condition, in the generallevel and above. There are no significantly differences in university students’psychological capital total table and each dimension in grades, source of the students,only-child or not and major, while there are significant differences in variables of sexand student leaders.(2)The occupation decision-making self-efficacy of college students is above theaverage and the development is not balanced. The average score of the occupationdecision-making self-efficacy from high to low is selecting targets, gatheringinformation, problem solving, self evaluation, making plan. The research results showthat it’s significantly different in gender, grade and student leaders, while which arenot significantly different in the source of students, the only child or not and themajor.(3) In the score of the Student Occupation Tendency,the scores of social type werehigher, while the scores of Realistic type were lower. there are significant differencesin gender, the only child or not, major and student leaders.(4) It is significant positive correlation in university students’ psychological capitaland occupation decision-making self-efficacy.Further analysis finds that the psychological capital on the occupation of each factor has the varying degreeprediction in the decision-making self-efficacy.(5)It is significant positive correlation between the Actual type, Investigation type,Social type, Career type and the psychological capital. Further analysis finds that theOccupation tendency of Career and Investigation type plays a positive role inuniversity students’ psychological capital, while the Occupation tendency ofConventional type and Art occupation play a significant negative predictive value inuniversity students’ psychological capital. |
