Teaching material is the tool for teaching, which is also the material for learning. Without high qualified teaching materials, teaching activities can not be carried out. The intensive education of teaching Chinese as a foreign language recent years attracted more and more attention as a branch of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. The development of intensive education can not exist without the supporting of the relative teaching materials. Therefore, in this thesis the intensive Chinese education teaching materials will be studied, which aims for exploring the principle and law of composing the intensive education teaching materials, and all of that aims for making more contribution to the development of intensive Chinese education.The objects of study in this thesis refer to Learn Chinese in48Hours and Speed-up Chinese. The respondents come from the Confucius Institute of Estonian Tallinn University and the International Education Institute of Guangxi University. This thesis will make use of the statistical methods and correlation methods to gain the basics information of the usage of these teaching materials by them. And to combine the researching data with linguistics, Education, Psychology and the basic subject theories of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, and then to compare the similarities and differences, superior and inferior of the two teaching materials in the composing rationales and examples, texts, vocabulary, grammar and exercises. All of these effort aims for suggesting the compile of the intensive Chinese teaching materials in the future.Sincerely hope by the author that this thesis will provide more inferences for the compile of the intensive teaching materials, draw more attention to the compile of intensive teaching materials and intensive Chinese education to promote the compile of teaching materials, continuous relative study and the development of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.
