| The analysis of adverbial word order is quite common in Korea and Chinese, but the comparison between adverbial word order in Korea and Chinese is few, especially centered on adverbs adverbial word order. This paper will focus on the basic adverbs adverbial word order in a sentence, as well as multi-adverbial word order. This paper emphasizes the formation of adverbs in the sentence adverbial word order, because of different types of adverbs and different word order in a sentence, changes of the word order can also make the sentence meaning and messages change, that is to make the function of adverbs change. Before analyzing the word order, we should classify the adverbs from meaning aspect, The adverbs of time, of category, frequency adverbs, adverbs of degree, like state adverbs as well as negative adverbs, based on such classification, we study the changes of the adverbial word order and syntactic function.There are four chapters in this paper.The first chapter is the introduction part.it gives an account of the researching purpose, significance, methods and status.The second chapter examines the basic adverbial word order and movement of a single adverb in the sentence, and analyzes the constraints of word order moving and the functional change which caused by changes of the word order. Adverbial position of adverbs of time and of category in the sentence is relatively free, while the adverbial position of frequency adverbs, adverbs of degree, like state adverbs and negative adverbs is relatively fixed.The adverbials formed by adverbs of time become a marked word order which moves from its basic positon to another location in order to convery the information better or stress the time.The third chapter studies the arrangement of word order which the two adverbs appear in a sentence at the same time as adverbials, as well as the meaning changes caused by changes of the order of adverbs, and summarizes the basic word order which two adverbs appear in Korean and Chinese at the same time. The basic word order of Korean is:time> category> frequency> degree>like state>negative. The basic word order of Chinese is:time>frequency>category>degree>negative>like state, last examples which more than three adverbs appear at the same time prove the general law.The fourth chapter is the conclusion part, it makes a comprehensive analysis of the researching fruits and summarize the main content of the paper.1... |
