Experimental Research Of Space Design Education

Experimental study of space design education is based on the architectural education,inquiring the teaching way or method of architectural education and related education (such asthe environment landscape, interior design, etc), trying to develop a way of comprehensivediscussing, debating, studying and understanding the knowledge of building. At present thedevelopment level of experimental study of space design education interiorly has disparitywith the one of institutions of higher education abroad. Paper analyses and explores theexperimental study of space design education, summarizing the performance andcharacteristics, to study and apply the new method to explore the architectural space.Through the research of experimental and advanced space teaching, we can graspcontinuously developing architectural field and other related design field. It mainly shows intwo aspects: one is building aesthetic and construction technology are equally important;Secondly, the construction need extend to the level of a deep understanding on the relatedsocial, cultural, economic and political aspects. Experimental study of space design educationexpresses these two points on teaching style and teaching methods and course setting. Thepaper firstly collects and analyses foreign important experimental study of space designeducation abroad. Based on translating and arranging English literature and using caseanalysis and chart methods, I sum up the performance and characteristics of experimentalresearch. Then, combined with the theoretical foundation, I participated in the experimentalteaching activities which two research project supported. Through the personal experience,and based on the related academic theory, I sum up the experiences and the characters toacquire direct experience on the research subject. Finally, based on the achievements oftheory research and practice research, I sort out several development aspects applying to theexperimental study of space design education in domestic comprehensive colleges anduniversities through contrasting and analyzing. And based on this, I make some specificadvice on five courses, such as Design Foundation, Body and Experience, Design Project,History and Critical Thinking and Research Course. Hoping through the research of this paper,provide worthy using for reference on domestic space design education.
