| With the rapid development in economy and foreign relations fields of China and the demand for Chinese language talents is more and more increasing in many countries around the world. Matching with the integration of China’s economy into the world’s one, the influence of China on international arena is also becoming deeper and deeper; the people from many other countries desire to learn about China directly. Therefore, Chinese culture has been known by many people all over the world and sinology becomes a "famous theory".While the trend of Chinese is more and more developing, the number of people who are learning Mandarin Chinese language also more and more increasing."Chinese trend" not only develops in big cities, such as Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City, but it also rises up in many other provinces in Viet Nam. Thai Nguyen is one of typical provinces in Viet Nam for that development. For these reasons, the author investigates comprehensively the education status quo of Mandarin Chinese language in Thai Nguyen province, Viet Nam. Since then, the author helps people understand deeply popularization status quo as well as the trend of Mandarin Chinese language development in our own country. Through the careful analysis about the situation of teacher and learner to find out existing problem in the Mandarin Chinese language promotion in Thai Nguyen province, Viet Nam and to provide some solutions for that problem. The research and investigation on some aspects, such as learner, textbook, retraining teacher, teaching process and teacher’s background can help Chinese teachers, especially Chinese teachers in Thai Nguyen province understand more clearly about the status quo of Chinese education in this area, also hoping to provide some referential ideas for the Chinese popularization of China.In this research, the author used questionnaire to make the research more realiable, through the result, the Mandarin Chinese promotion in Thai Nguyen province, Viet Nam is facing with some main problem. About the teacher and teacher training, in Thai Nguyen province now there is a lack of Chinese teachers, the rate between male and female Chinese teachers is not balanced. Recently, the standard of teacher has been improved a lot; however, there are not teachers who have high dignity like professor and associate professor. At the moment, there are only two teachers who are studying Ph.D degree in China. There are not many teachers who are trained overseas; most of them are trained in Viet Nam. Moreover, the training process is not deep and methodical. About the teaching activity:the teaching process is not vivid enough, extracurricular activities are still limited. There are only some students having chances to take part in activities, such as the contest of drawing calligraphy, contest of Chinese eloquence. About Chinese language propaganda activity, most of learners have ever not heard about Chinese volunteers or Confucius Institute-a Chinese promotion organization in China. About the textbook, although Chinese educating centers in Thai Nguyen province use famous textbooks, they are still not suitable for Vietnamese students. Besides, there is no synchronicity in the using of textbooks. About the auxiliary teaching equipments, there is a deprivation of teaching equipments, especially modern teaching ones. About the career orientation for students, the people who are in charge of broadcasting Chinese still lacking of direction in choosing career for learners. The final problem is that Chinese learners have no profound understanding about China. The learners only understand a little bit about China through textbooks and document, lacking of real experience.Concentrating on above problems, the author gives some following solutions to solve them:intensifying the number of Chinese teachers, improving the teachers’ qualification, promoting career orientation, compiling suitable Chinese textbooks for Vietnamese students. Besides, the implementing people need to focus on promoting Mandarin Chinese, effort to research and learn about the role of Confucius Institute, strengthen the cooperation with China schools, investigate modern equipments to serve teaching process. |
