Dehua is one main area of the export ceramic production in China, once and Jingdezhen in Jiangxi, liling in Hunan called China’s "three big Porcelain Capital", among them Dehua’s traditional plastic ceramic is one big characteristic of Dehua ceramic, has the very high artistic value. As a component of Chinese traditional artistic, how to inherit and carry forward Dehua ceramic art is a major issue we are faced with. But since the modern time, the artistic quality of Dehua ceramic appears gradually blurred phenomenon. So in this paper through the angle of history, longitudinal analyses the evolution of Dehua ceramic, examine the artistic change;Through field investigation, summarizing the modern Dehua ceramic production situation, modeling and adornment art characteristics, and visiting numerous loqal artists’ institute and Dehua ceramic college, examines the cultivation condition of local ceramic art talent. Thus further discussed the cause of the Dehua ceramic art’s weakening. And for this reason, we puts forward on the solutions of construction of "cultural awareness", training artists, balance machine and handmade.In addition, this paper, from the angle of art creation, discusses the idea of the process of burning into the application of ceramic creation and return to life and nature of the aesthetic orientation.
