A Study On The Writing Of Recreational Sports In The Novels Of The Ming And Qing Dynasties

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the development of ancient Chinese recreational activities reached a prosperous stage,with rich and colorful contents and various forms.Literature is the active reflection of writers on social life.In their painstaking creation,the novelists of Ming and Qing Dynasties always consciously or unconsciously incorporated recreational activities into the novel text,making it a remarkable writing phenomenon in the novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties.But at present,the study of recreational activities in novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties is not deep and comprehensive enough.In view of this,the author attempts to further enrich the study of recreational activities in novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties from the perspective of recreational sports.The introduction part mainly defines the concept of "recreation" and "recreational sports",and explains the way of judging recreational sports and the basis of selecting recreational sports.The first chapter of this paper is "an overview of the writing of recreational sports in the novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties".Firstly,it classifies the recreational sports in the novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and then summarizes the writing methods of recreational sports in the novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.The second chapter "the literary function of recreation writing in novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties" makes a comprehensive discussion on the literary function of recreation writing in novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties from three aspects: characterization,plot development and theme connotation.The third chapter "the cultural characteristics of recreation writing in the novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties" is an in-depth analysis of the cultural connotation of recreation writing in the novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties from the perspective of folk culture and Confucian culture.The fourth chapter "the evolution of recreation writing in the late Qing Dynasty and the characteristics of the times" attempts to bring the modern novels in the late Qing Dynasty into the research field of vision,vertically compares the differences between the recreation writing in the modern novels and the novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and explores the characteristics of the times reflected in the recreation writing in the modern novels from this evolution.
