China’s foreign language teaching can be traced back to the Han Dynasty. Today the Chinese boom emerged worldwide has indicated that China’s TCFL has entered a new stage of development. In order to promote the development of TCFL, the implementation of Global Promotion of Chinese is imminent. South Korea has become an important part of an integral part in the Global Promotion of Chinese strategy of the Chinese as a Foreign Language in China because of historical, geographical, cultural, political, economic and other reasons. South Korea first started Chinese education since the ancient Three Kingdoms period (c.37-668), and then went through the Unified Silla (669-917), Koryo Dynasty (918-1392), Josun Dynasty (1393-1911), Japanese colonial occupation period (1910-1945), and the modern period after Independence (1945onwards). The development of Chinese education has never been interrupted. After a thousand years of teaching practice and exploration, the Chinese education system in South Korea’s maturing day by day. Its high level and broad scope, as much as the outcome, are rare in the world. Especially at Josun Dynasty, the development of Chinese education achieved to its peak. It can be said that Chinese education during Josun Dynasty represents the highest level of Chinese language education in Korea.Multi-faceted, multi-angle inspection of the institutional features and teaching methods of Josun Dynasty, active use of the Sino-ROK comparative linguistics research will help us be more scientific and effective in research and practice for South Korea-targeted TCFL activities, thus contributing to further promotion of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Korea.This article is divided into five chapters. The first chapter summarized the purpose and significance of this subject. The second chapter introduced the language policy, educational institutions, teachers, teaching materials, assessment system of Josun Dynasty’s Chinese education and thus laid a factual basis for Chapter IV. Chapter IV analyzed the current situation and problems of our current Global Promotion of Chinese. Chapter II of Chapter IV prepared together for the fourth chapter--the focus of this article. Combined with analysis of the facts from Chapter one two and three, the fourth chapter made several proposals and some specific feasible measures in order to improve Global Promotion of Chinese activity. And the last chapter summarized the entire article.
