Nowadays animation is a kind of culture and arts in the world, Since the advent of animation, more and more people in society pay attention to it. Animation, movies and TV series are all belong to Movie and Television Products, only they can be seen in many different ways. After80years of development about domestic animation, not only more and more animation is called "classic" which is made in China, but also some excellent animation already achieve award-winning work. However, the word of "classic" is always represented in the past. Between "traditional art" and "modern art," we should keep old style of Chinese traditional art, and try our best to create the animation with Chinese native culture or still keep pace with the times, should animation use modern style? The relationship between both of them are give up one of them, develop another or common development of all? we have to think about it deeplyIn recent years, there has been an influx of excellent animation from other country is coming into China. China’s animation industry is facing to huge challenges, which is unprecedented. Some countries with great animation power such as Japan, South Korea or Europe and the United States, they already gave China’s animation too much pressure. That is why more and more China’s animators have to lose their own animation style and then try new style about animation, traditional art and culture in animation is gradually forgotten. The most important point that is they are losing their original market and audience. However at this time, some foreign artists keep Chinese culture as elements about animation, not only making so many good cartoons and Hot-selling in China. Kung Fu panda is the best example. Foreign animators made some cartoon movie with the thousands of years of Chinese culture through Chinese style cartoon attracts Chinese people and then make so much money from Chinese market. They are trying to encroach on our cultural market. Unfortunately, these foreign animation works have been filled into many Chinese children’s hearts, but local Chinese excellent animation seems to disappear at this time. Animation makers not only one time ask themselves, why foreign animation designer are able to put our national story and our traditional culture into their animation rather than us. In the final analysis we should understand we never pay attention to our traditional culture and art as well as foreign designers. We always lack of confidence and awareness about our native cartoons or copy other style of animation and losing our own style. If we never understand this point, our animation will never get a better place in the global market.
