| Objective:To understand the mental health status and stress symptoms of floodsvictims and to analyze the causes of mental health problems in the related factors ofvictims, and preliminary discuss the crisis intervention model of flood victims.Methods: Select1500cases of the Leping city, Jiangxi Province, Jingdezhen wheresuffered serious flood disaster was selected by stratified cluster sampling method.Andtheir status was assessed by using the self-designed questionnaire,the SymptomChecklist (SCL-90) and the Impact of Event Scale-Revisedscale (IES-R).The dataprocessing and analysis was dealed by SPSS16.0software.Results:â‘ Different gender group score difference on somatization,anxiety,terrorfactor statistically.Different age group was different on somatization, anxietyfactor,different coping styles and different family property damage was different inscores on the nine factors.Different cultural levels score difference statisticallysignificant on compulsion, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, hostility, phobia,paranoid and psychotic symptoms factor.â‘¡Different coping stylesã€different familyeconomic status and different family property loss was significant different in positiverates of stress symptoms.Different gender and education level was different on avoidfactor.Different coping styles,family property loss in break〠evasive and highvigilance factor was different statistically.â‘¢IES-R3factor and SCL-909factorshowed a positive correlation.trapped,economic pressure, greater loss of familyproperty were risk factors for mental health.Satisfaction,more positiveresponses,longer sleep time,married were protective factors for mental health.trapped,loss of family property were risk factors for post-disaster stresssymptoms.Positive responses, longer sleep time were protective factors to avoidpost-disaster stress symptoms.Conclusion:The mental health of victims and stress situation was not optimistic, andthere was internal connection between mental health and stress symptoms,so concernsshould be strengthened attention for mental health and stress levels of victims.Takingactive and effective intervention methods to improve their psychological health status and reduce psychological problems and stress symptoms. |
