The Acceptance Of Wolf Totem In Different Cultural Circle

"Wolf Totem" is an autobiographical novel, and the author Jiang Rong has described the culture and customs of the wolf on the grasslands and the people of Mongolian by the eyes of the perspective of the young intellectuals. And this is also a work based on the national life with the characteristic of cross-culture. After the coming out of "Wolf Totem", it has not only attracted the national but also the world’s attention, which has been translated into more than30languages mulching more than110countries and regions."Wolf Totem" has been spread in different nations, so that the different versions of "Wolf Totem" have become the topic subject of comparative literature studies. This paper was focused on the interpretation of "Wolf Totem", trying to study the situation of acceptation of "Wolf Totem" in the cultural circles among Chinese, Mongolian and English, and explored the accept psychological differences readers from different cultures.This thesis was comprised four parts:the first part is the introduction of the whole paper, describing the research methods, essay structure and significance. The second part was described the acceptation of "Wolf Totem" in the Chinese, Mongolian and English cultural circles. The third part of the paper was compared the differences of the psychological differences between the Mongolian readers at home and abroad, and studied on the psychological differences in the different culture circles. The last part of the paper was the conclusion of the whole paper:the globalization times has brought the opportunities and challenges for the comparative literature studies, which should undertake the responsibility of promoting the common development from the perspective of the world.
