The western invasion bombed the door of modern China’s history, as early as the beginning of19c, the Protestants as the vanguard of foreign invasion came to China exerted themselves and defended the interests of the bourgeoisie to change Chinese traditional values and cultural concepts, make China into their colony. As China’s policies of isolation and excommunication, missionaries through running newspapers to close the Chinese people. Their newspapers opened a window for Chinese people to understand the world, especially the introduction to western political, economic, cultural, technological, military and other aspects, causing the concern of Chinese intellectuals. Such as the early newspapers"Eastern western Monthly Magazine" in modern, introduced the western learning content, contributed to the formation of the world thought of statecraft thinkers as Wei Yuan, Lin Zexu."Shanghae Serial" as the mid-modern newspapers more comprehensive introduced the western learning content, mainly in the natural science, physical chemistry, which opened the people vision and facilitated the westernization that seeking salvation and survival path from the artifacts level. As China’s national crisis was worsening,"The Globe Magazine" appeared in the latter part of modern society, which expanded the spread of western content and introduced many western economic system and democratic system that affected to some intellectuals, proposing a political reform ideology to save the nation, and then setting off a Reform Thoughts. The evolution of the development of19th century Chinese religious newspapers and the thought of China’s modern social change is the same strain and influence each other. On the one hand, Chinese religious newspapers promote the development of the change trend of thought, on the other hand, changes thought promote the content evolution of Chinese religious newspapers. In this paper, by analyzing the three typical19th century Chinese religious newspapers and Chinese modern three social thought to spy on the important role that19th century Chinese religious newspapers played in the social change in modern china, especially in the development of the modern thought changes.
