The Grotto Art In Jianchuan Of Digital Inheritance And Application Research

Since the beginning of the new century, all counties in the world are investigating more on cultural heritage. And the digital industry is developing rapidly. The digitized medium, as a new way to protect, inherit, develop and use the cultural heritage, is becoming a totally new application area and a key part. It is of great value no matter to the heritage’s reservation, digital library,museum exhibition, virtual relic repair,recover,evolvement or to the protection of digitized virtual reality technology. It is necessary to make a full and systemic research on protection of certain cultural heritage with digitized medium.The paper integrates the new digitized medium and the protection of JianChuan cave (which is a special ethical culture relic of YunNan province) to analyze the scientific methods and practice in contemporary cultural relic’s digitized medium protection and use. In order to tighten the connection between traditional culture and modern technology, the research tries to design interactive, vivid, audio-visual and distinguishing digital art production based on the complex connotation and denotation of the stone statues. In the end, according to the actual situation of YunNan province, the paper tries to set up an effective research system that combines traditional culture and modern technology. Although culture heritage itself can’t create new culture, it can integrate cultures by cultural succession and transcendence, as well as enrich the inheriting methods and content with the sustaining technology innovation.The research shall be an important guidance for digitized medium’s application on cultural heritage such as JianChuan cave, and to promote digitized medium protection and development on cave art in our country.
