There exist manypoint to be researched not only in the writing style but also in the cultural implication of thearticle.There is a brief introduction about Zheng He in the book “Ming Shi”，it mainly showsthat he traveled to the West for several times. Zheng He’s voyage to the West has arousedwide influence at that time. The followers MaHuan、FeiXin and GongZhen recorded theprocedure, and the record “Ying-yai Shenglan”,“Xing-cha Shenglan” and “Western Country”become the rough researching materials finally.Journey to the West intimidate “The Romance of the Three Kindoms” and “Journey tothe West”of their writing styles obviously. The novel includes a large variety of stories, withreferences to each of it. As it is concerned with the writing style, the writer respects thehistory but doesn’t addict to it. In one hand the writer writes the foreign story with truethoughts, and in another hand, the author uses his imagination to write about the mystery ofthe power.Though the novel writes about Zheng He’s voyage to the West, the main character is JinBifeng. The purpose of the author is to propaganda Buddhism instead of writing about thestory. As it is concerned with the framework of the novel, the author has some considerationabout mixing the three religious. But as is implied, the author agrees with Jin Bifeng whiledisagrees with Zhang Tianshi, so that it implies that the story agrees with Buddha but againstTao. Since the author doesn’t know much about the art of writing the novel, and feels like toshow off his Buddhism culture, there are some unsuccessful religious descriptions of thenovel, which affect the art of the novel greatly.
