| The Korean Sword Dance as the object of study. Use of Dance Studies, aesthetics,history and other research methods this paper made a comprehensive analysis. Attemptsfrom the vertical of Korean Sword Dance of the sequence of events, from horizontalanalysis of Korean Sword Dance morphological features, and on this basis, analysis ofKorean Sword Dance Aesthetics thought. This paper draws on the senior scholar in theexisting research results, based on the local literature, and the author’s fieldinvestigation report.This article is divided into four chapters and conclusion of two parts, the firstchapter is the introduction part, summarized the research purpose and significance,theoretical basis of the research, advance research status and theory method.The second chapter: mainly written Korean sword dance history process inevolution, every period has its particularity, the first stage is the ancient period, is alsomentioned in the article of dance period, this period popular dance contains the sworddance in the beginning. The second stage is the culture of the Central Plains to the northbecause of spreading time, make Chinese sword of Korean Sword Dance influence. Thethird stage is the period of Xinluo, sword dance in this period is the most popular period,various historical data have documented. And in this period the crazy a popular story,the story is Huang Changlang sword dance. The fourth stage is the period of KoreanDynasty palace, in order to meet the needs of high officials and noble lords, sworddance was brought to the palace from the formal, sword dance. The fifth stage for theprostitute house period, because the court system was abolished, some performers haveknife dance into the prostitute house.
