The Training Value And Aesthetic Exploration Of Long-tasseled Sword In Classical Sword Dance

Long-Tasseled Sword is an integral part of Chinese classical sword dance course,which is also the crystallization of national traditional culture.At the initial stage of the course construction of Chinese classical sword dance,long-tasseled sword dance was started to be explored and practiced,but it was not paid enough attention for various reasons.While the construction of short-tasseled sword dance course is growing mature,the exploration of long-tasseled sword can make the sword dance region more comprehensive and make contribution to the traditional national culture.Long-tasseled sword is widely absorbed by martial arts,drama and square fitness dance.It integrates performance and training as a whole,and marries up cultural elements and visually enjoyability.This paper finds its cut-in point in training value and aesthetic value of long-tasseled sword,summarizes the development history and the techniques of long-tasseled sword,studies the unique training value of long-tasseled sword compared to short-tasseled sword,and analyzes the aesthetic implication of long-tasseled sword.The research is carried out based on the study,folk collection,interviews,classroom practice and tutor workshop on Long-Tasseled Sword during my master courses.On the foundation laid by the predecessors,this paper aims to expands the teaching content of sword dance,highlights the characteristic culture of sword dance,enriches the creation vocabulary of sword dance,and contributes my humble power to the construction of Chinese classical sword dance discipline.
