| Xiaomei. a sophomore of dance department, is a native of a remote mountain district in southwest. Though born at a poor family, she shows quite high self-respect. In order to save traveling expenses. she hasn’t been home for two years. A-jie is Xiaomei’s boyfriend who also doesn’t have a wealthy family. He is enthusiastically fond of guitar, but can not afford one.Summer holiday came again. A-jie decided to give her girlfriend a surprise by booking the tickets home for her. So he went to the subway and sang for money. Xiaomei heard about that without knowing the reason, and she began to angry about him. She thought that A-jie did that because he desired for a guitar. Then she lowered her self-respect and began to make money through performance at night. In the last, they use their money to fulfill the wish of the other side. On her way home, Xiaomei was caught in an accident and went into a coma which broke A-jie’s heart. In his dream, he realized that Xiaomei would be awake only through breaking his new guitar. He decided to break his guitar. Luckily, Xiaomei waked up at the right second A-jie was about to break his guitar, and the happy couple ran together on the playground.Chronologically, this thesis explained in detail the conception, cinematography and post-processing based on the film-making procedure which was divided into several parts:preparations, filming, production and script-writing. |
