Interaction Between Campus Catchword And Campus Cultural Construction

Catchword is a linguistic phenomenon, and also is a pop culture phenomenon. Currently, the campus catchword have become the catchword of contemporary students ideology, value criteria, aesthetic orientation, behavior, and the important structural parameters of thinking. Catchwords are immediately reflected in campus life, which is the external appearance of the campus culture. In the youth popular culture development process, a certain interaction is formed between campus culture catchword and the construction of campus culture.With campus catchword being the starting point of this article, we chose universities in Hebei Baoding as the scope of the study, concerning about the status of academic research and drawing on the basis of research results. This article also aims at broadening our perspectives through the methods of investigation in speech community theories and social linguistics, thus throwing an in-depth analysis in the combination and interaction between campus culture catchword and the construction of campus culture.Quite adequate campus catchword are collected through the course of the study. We started with giving a scientific definition to the campus catchword, definited a specific classification of catchword by establishing the theoretical basis and studied the relevant features. Next, we investigated among the college students through questionnaires and other methods to further the understanding of the congnitive situation and use of the campus catchword between them. Then we built up a top list of high schools through which a psychological analysis was conducted.To further the study, the interaction between campus catchword and the campus culture were also carefully analyzed. And with the campus catchword being a breakthrough, we set forth new requirements for construction of campus culture for the new period.
