"A dream of Red Mansions" is one of the four major Chinese classical literary masterpieces,the novel has two routes:one is about the rise and fall of the four families,there are Jia,Shi,Wang and Xue.The other is the Jia Baoyu's emotional experience.Through two routes,the novel reflects the true face of China feudal society in eighteenth century.This novel is a manifestation of the life philosophy,in the shape of the complicated relationship between the three important characters,make the love not only has joys but sorrows.Specifically,it is shown in the following three aspects.First,use wit,irony,debate language to express complicate love.Second,use subtle "blank" euphemism to express love.Third,use plain text to explain love,and through the expression of these skills and superb language skill,created a pure realm for "a dream of Red Mansions".The author believes that there is a very close relationship between dance works and literary works,they belong to the field of art,but the expression is very different.The literature belongs to the art language,use art language to create and describe the characters,main texts have prose,poetry,novels and so on.Dance is performing arts,creating characters through body language,usually accompany with dance music.The performers follow the rhythm of the arrangement to express the character's inner feelings.From the perspective of the development of the times,dance is earlier than literature.But with the diversification of the progress of history and art forms,many outstanding works of dance's inspiration are come from classical literary works.The ballet is another expression of the novel rhythm,which has the advantages the novel doesn't has.In terms of the novel's performance,it focuses on the plot of the story and the emotional expression of the characters,character's personality,in other words,the performance of concrete.However,the dance is more emphasis on showing the emotional rendering of the characters and the aesthetic intention,which namely,the abstract expression.As to the dance,emotions are expressed with body language,the creator put the emotion into the body language,while the emotional expression is not enough to rely solely on the body,it also need performer's intention to "tell" the story,and ultimately achieve face-to-face exchanges with the audience.In the different stages of social development,the emotion expressed by dance is different.For example,the "Red Detachment of women" ballet which was created in the 60s and 70s of the last century,because the characters portrayed by different directors are various,therefore,the feedbacks of the audiences for each version are also different.In "dream of red mansions",Cao Xue qin attempts to use the literature artistic skill which has highly personal color conception to describe a sad love story,which is the penetration progress of the art rendering and destiny philosophy towards different readers,and it's also a new artistic experience,even can be said that everyone has a their own "dream of red mansions".The charm of art lies in the development of its changeable rhythm and imagination space,which brings us a kind of enjoyment of beauty.Using dance language to express the characters,is a realm of art which the novel is unable to reach.Therefore,using novel as the basic content,dance for expression,put the characters in the novel into the dance image on the stage,is a perfect combination of literary art and dance,and a recreation of "beauty".In the transformation process of literature and dance,dance and novel character image gradually fused together,mutual penetration,mutual complement,mutual reflection,and jointly create a magnificent visual art and sensory experience.As the Japanese Yamamoto Xuan Feng said at Long Ze Temple:"All the books are just a stepping stone;if you open the door and call out the person,you will find he is yourself".This paper analyzes the three dance versions of "a dream of Red Mansions",analyze the Jia Baoyu and Lin Daiyu's expression of inner feelings,and compare different "love" expression.At the same time,the paper's research about "a dream of Red Mansions" is derived from the red dance.On the other hand,the paper compared the body language's emotion expression of three version of "a dream of Red Mansions",and try to explore how to use the body language to find the location of multidimensional dance image in literary works,how to recreate character's image,then the creator interpret his own "a dream of Red Mansions".
