The Variorum Of The "Sunbin’s Art Of War" In The Bamboo Slips Excavated From Ancient Tombs Of Han Dynasty In Yin Que Mountain

In April,1972, researchers found a plenty of bamboo slips including Sun Bin: TheArt of War in No.1Han Dynasty tomb in Yin Que Mountain, Linyi, Shandongprovince. Based on discovery of Sun Bin: The Art of War, researchers promoted thestudy and researches in the identification of Sun Bin, Sun Bin: The Art of War,relationship between Sun Bin and Sun Zi, and other related aspects.With the Sun Bin: The Art of War publishing, more and more scholars andresearchers paid attention on it. Therefore, the researches in knowing characters orother related questions made significant achievements.Sun Bin: The Art of War supplied a lot of new research materials about Tongjiawords, Xingsheng words, grammar, structures, and other related aspects as reference.At the same time, it also helped scholars and researchers to study on widespread orlost philosophy, military and strategic thoughts, realistic significance, cultural value,and other contents. Accordingly, in this paper, the writer did researches on Sun Bin:The Art of War and gave answers and discussions on related questions.The structures of this paper included following parts.In the preface, firstly, the writer introduced the discovery and collection conditionsof Sun Bin: The Art of War and also gave brief overview of present study. Secondly,the writer did comparison study on different versions of bamboo slips pictures of SunBin: The Art of WarIn Chapter One and Two, the writer collected research findings on standardsequence of bamboo slips, knowing of characters, and annotation of text. The writerproposed individual views on present problems in order to generate one reliable textand annotation of Sun Bin: The Art of War.In appendix part, the writer gave the text of bamboo slips of Sun Bin: The Art ofWar. And also showed other different Sun Bin: The Art of War versions in historicaldocuments.
