Zhang Fengyi,who lived in the Ming Dynasty, occupied a veryimportant position in the history of Chinese opera. The "Hongfuji"was not only one of his representative works, but also appearedearlier in the history of Kunqu Opera. At the same time,it had beenwidely spread. Researchers always researched Hong Fuji from allaspects, however, the spread of Hong Fuji was still lack ofsystematic and comprehensive study.This thesis on the "Hong Fuji" refers modern communicationconcepts and theories, makes a careful combing the situation,description and analysis for the spread of flow in the Ming and QingDynasties. This thesis divides into seven chapters.They are theversion,the selection,the change,the criticism, the stage,the imageand other aspects.The aim is describing the spread of Hong Fujifrom multi-angle in the Ming and Qing social and culturalcontext.From this,we can deepen understanding of the text,expandunderstanding of the performance, adaptation and criticism.At thesame time,we can understand some regularity summary and usefulexploration of the spread of ancient Chinese opera.This thesis’introduction part, as usual,introduces the subject ofthe article, research methods and some basic concepts.Theimportant part is that it introduces the research situation of "HongFuji". The first chapter is Zhang Fengyi and "Hong Fuji". This chapterbriefly describes the life experiences of Zhang Fengyi and hiswritings.Another,it outlines the main contents of this legendary andits origins.The second chapter is the version spread of "Hong Fuji". Theversion as a specific, physical and chemical form, itself contains awealth of information and knowledge,so it provides the mostreliable basis for the exploring and seeking the spread of "HongFuji". Thus, this chapter studys all the existing version of the"HongFuji". In addition,I analyze a detailed the advantage andshortcoming of each version in order to revert the originalappearance of"Hong Fuji".The third chapter is the election spread of"Hong Fuji"."HongFuji" exists in the vertion form,the more in the election form. Thischapter is more comprehensive list of the election of"Hong Fuji",and on this basis, I analysis its characteristics.So, this reflects itspopular spread in another way.The forth chapter is the change spread of"Hong Fuji". Thischapter lists the details of the "Hong Fuji" in an adaptation of Mingand Qing Dynasties, more importantly, I point out the differencesand similarities between the various adaptations of"Hong Fuji" inorder to provide information for further research.The fifth chapter is the criticism spread of"Hong Fuji".Nodoubt,the wide spread and acceptance of"Hong Fuji" cann’t leavethe introduction and exploration of scholars. Since the "Hong Fuji"come out, many critics gave endless comments,including praise orblame. However, in the commentaries, the study has insufficient. Therefore ,this chapter will discuss this as a key.The sixth chapter is the stage spread of"Hong Fuji".This chapterfully discusses the "Hong Fu Ji" at the time of the speech situationand containing the immortal vitality from stage performance,excerpts and local opera performances recorded in the angle.The seventh chapter is the image spread of"Hong Fuji". Imageas a new means of communication, more directly reflects thespread of "Hong Fuji" in the public.This chapter describes someillustrations and pattern porcelain figuresthe of Hong Fu stories inMing and Qing Dynasties.The last part is a conclusion of the development of the aboveaspects and extends to modern spread. New theory,new media andnew methods are used in criticizing and evaluating opera, thus newcharacteristics appeared. So the spreading of“Hongfuji”will be acontinuous process.
