A Study On Kong Zhaoqian’s Literature

Kong Zhaoqian was a poet and a dramatist in Jiaqing Daoguang period of QingDynasty. As an important writer to the Qufu Saint, he showed his unique in hisliterature while showed commonality. This graduation thesis studies Kong Zhaoqiancomprehensively, including 4 parts, which are his lifetime, poetry creation, wordcreation and drama creation.In the first part, it introduces Kong Zhaoqian’s lifetime,official career and hisbackground. This part generally presents his life experience and literature origin. Andit lays stress on the influence of Qufu Saint to his creation opinion.In the second part, it elaborates Kong Zhaoqian’s poetry creation. This partanalyses in two fields, content and Artistic features. It generalizes and analyses indetail in 4 fields: reviewing history, describing the scenery and recording the travel,commenting the story, and contraction. Artistic features can be shown in the standardpoetry sense, beautiful style and concise creation. And it also claims the Qufu Saint’sindispensable influence to his creation.In the third part, it states Kong Zhaoqian’s word creation. This part introducesfrom two points, subject classification and artistic features. There are four subjects:Sentimental time,woman’s emotional , deep homesick and Profound friendship . Andthis thesis illustrates these with relative works. For artistic features, it analyzes thestyle, word sense and structure, to emphasize graceful and concise style.In the fourth part, it introduces KongZhaoqian’s drama creation. This partdiscusses <dangfusiqiu> and <zanghua> two works by main story and artisticachievement. For artistic achievement, the first part declares the drama creation’ssubject orientation, and three main characters: graceful creation concepts, heavy tragically and humanistic concern to female. The second part analyses the charactersto show their distinct personalities, such as woman, man and Admiral in<dangfusiqiu>, Lin Daiyu in <zanghua>. The third part shows the language arts, andit shows the elegance and graceful language style. Besides, his language has a naturalstyle.
