Abstract/Summary:
With the social and economic development, the demand for design is increasinglyrising. But at the same time some misunderstandings in our modern graphicdesign stand out. For example: first, the desalination of history sedimentation and themissing of humanistic spirit; second, the disjoint between modern concepts andtraditions; third, its function and form outweighs its beauty. Therefore, formodern graphic designers, how to achieve the localization of our modern graphicdesign has become one goal.To change this situation, we need to transfer the design concept from the deeper level,in particular, the aesthetic ideas of the modern graphic design should correspond withour traditional’s. From the perspective of Chinese interati painting, modern graphicdesign can learn from.Chinese traditional aesthetic system which is profound. Throughthe analysis of its development process and philosophic ideology, we can learn from the"mood" theory and its “fresh” and “elegant” mood of the Chinese interati painting. Andthen put them to the use of our modern graphic design that is about itscomposition program rules, its color system and a large number of recurring themes ofChinese intellectual’s personal integrity and principle which compose a unique paintingstyle: a combination between poetry, calligraphy and seal.
