The Research On KunQu And ShenBao

Kunqu is a great part of Chinese culture,and the outstanding representative of Chineseculture. During Qing Dynasty and Republic of China, Kunqu declined because of a greatnumber of factors. At the same time, the revolution of the society brought in numerous newthing, including Newspaper. Shen Bao emerged during this period as the first Newspaper inChina. She witnessed the rise and fall of KunQu in Shanghai in modern Chinese. Thereports on KunQu during this period provided rich literatures The record involved theKunqu agency, script, role of KunQu, Comment and so on. This paper was separated intothree parts. In the first part, the paper described the relationship between Kunqu and Shenbao based on history data, what＇s more, it simply described that Shen bao witnessed thedecline of Kunqu, at last, it summaried the results of the declinzation. In the second chapter,Shen bao witnessed the improvement of Kunqu in these respects, such as: theory, system.The last chapter integrate the relationship between Kunqu and Shen bao, beside this,it alsoexplore how Kunqu can be improved and be inherited. On the other hand, it analysis greatdeal of phenomenon appearing during that period which can help us know the developmentof Kunqu and bring us some means to promote Kunqu.
