This paper mainly relied on the historicaldrama information (1872-1911) of the fourth volume----"Shenbao" inthe “historical documents compilation of Peking opera”, The writermakes a systematic sorting and detailed classification of it,rigorous and meticulous research and analysis and draw thetheoretical point of it.The full text of "Shenbao" historical drama carried out adetailed classification. This paper will be divided into threecategories: The positive informations of drama, mainly containsfour aspects, suitable for people’s delight and entertainment;praises of nationwide celebration; persuasive goodness to punishevil and promoting healthy atmosphere; makes a mickle and relieveafflictions. The negative informations of drama, also mainlycontains four aspects, theatre accidents lead to injuries of innocent; staged fornicator opera and corrupted culture; the actors commit acrime and gone astray prohibit drama because of various reasons.The other informations of drama, mainly contains Zhuzhici, praisespoem; the introductions of the theater troupes and operas; randomtalk, drama reviews and the textual research of drama.Finally, the thesis integrated and analyzed the informationsabout the drama and draw conclusions.
