With the global economy entering into an era with knowledge as the core competence, the world hasrealized the importance of cultural and creative industry, and increased the investment and enlarged theresearches in this field. Many countries such as the Great Britain, the United States, and Japan havepromoted this industry to an unprecedented height and make strategies for the development of cultural andcreative industry.Currently, China is in the process of social transition, and our nation is strongly promoting anddeveloping cultural industry. However, the development of cultural industry took its first step later thanthe developed countries and the cultural enterprises were faced with problems such as small scales, narrowfinancing channels, and difficult financing. Particularly, under the situation of a gloomy economy, ourcultural enterprises encountered great difficulty in development and need new opportunities and impetus.Cultural Art Exchanges, as a practice as well as a response to our national appeal of developingcultural industry, drew wide capital attention when appearing in market. In addition, with the low tide instock and property, artwork market took in much hot money and many locals established Cultural ArtExchanges and want a share in this market. As newborn things, Cultural Art Exchanges grope forsolutions for the problems in development without others’ experience to learn. Meanwhile, our nation alsotakes an active part to make regulations and policies to lead Cultural Art Exchanges to benigndevelopment.The continual development of Cultural Art Exchanges also provokes controversy.The thesis begins with a summarization the background of the birth of Cultural Art Exchanges and itsnature and then analyzed the objective conditions promoting its birth. A general conclusion anddemarcation of Cultural Art Exchanges is drawn based on the introduction of its course and goals ofdevelopment. Chapter three generalized the operation mode of Cultural Art Exchanges from the levels ofoperation mode, marketing, producing, technology and funds management of ZhengZhou Cultural ArtExchange, which is both characteristic and representative. Chapter four made an in-depth analysis of the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of the development of ZhengZhou Cultural ArtExchange in SWOT analysis model. Based on the introduction of the development and operation mode ofCultural Art Exchanges, chapter five made a conclusion of the main problems in their development, that is,serious regional competition, legal and policy hysteresis, lack of artwork investment security as well as lackof investors’ social responsibility, which became the bottleneck of restricting Cultural Art Exchange’sdevelopment.Tking the characteristic and representative ZhengZhou Cultural Art Exchange as example, the thesismade an in-depth analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of Cultural Art Exchange. In addition toexperience and lessons from other Cultural Art Exchanges, the thesis made some suggestions, that is, stickto our governmental lead and enhance the overall plans and cooperation to strengthen Cultural ArtExchanges’ predicting ability of the laws and policies to ensure the artwork investors’ interest and boostartwork investors’ enthusiasm. The setup of a socialized and popularized situation could ensure theCultural Art Exchanges’ driving power in cultural and positivity in our country’s social transition....
