| It was more active on the study of historical science of Hui nationality in the second half of the20th century, which was an important stage of its development. The study of historical science of Hui nationality gained unceasingly further progress in the course of its systematical study during this period. It had surpassed any previous stage and quite fruitful not only on the research approaches, research widths and research depth, but also on the foundation of research institutions, the construction of research teams and the quantity and quality of research works. This dissertation seeks to analyze and study the whole picture of the historical science of Hui nationality in the second half of the20th century under the existing research base, through unearthing and arranging the research data, the survey of the Hui nationality, and the study of local and general histories of the Hui nationality and so on and it researches from Hui ethnic name, source and formation process, the relationship between Hui nationality and Islam, the collection of the historical data of Hui nationality, the study of the uprisings and historical personages of Hui nationality, and the study of Islamic sects and Menhuans, all of which are based on the current studies in order to make people have an objective and comprehensive comprehension on the historical science of Hui nationality in the second half of the20th century. Owing to a study interruption resulted from an unchecked spread of the ultra-left trend of thought between the late fifties to late seventies in the20th century, this dissertation emphasizes on the achievements of historical science of Hui nationality in the early fifties, in the eighties and nineties of the20th century. |
