During the period of National Eleventh Five-Year Plan, the developing speed ofcultural industry is continuously above20percent, which overwhelmed otherindustries. Keeping on the speed, it is estimated that by the end of2015, culturalindustry bounds to be the pillar industry. Recently, Double Plan on CulturalIndustrial during National twelfth Five-Year Plan has been announced, whichsuggests that during the National twelfth Five-Year Plan, performing arts,entertainment, game industries and so on will be promoted. Government willincrease the input on cultural industry and enlarge the GDP proportion of culturalindustry. In2012, the idea of promoting the scale, extensive and professionaldevelopment of cultural industry is first announced in report of government work.Therefore, cultural enterprises won’t only confront with opportunities but alsochallenges. How to take good use of the policy and improve the corecompetitiveness is the key for cultural enterprises to survive and development.Liaoning Opera House is one of the professional art bodies that were built early inChina. Like other peers, Liaoning Opera House also suffers the bottlenecks ofdevelopment. Consequently, the developing situation is depicted. According to thebusiness model theory, the causes setting back the development are studiedsystematically, and relevant plan, management suggestion and strategies are alsostudied in the paper in order to set an example for the peers.There are six parts in the paper as follows.The first part is introduction. the background and research meaning of the paperare introduced. Then, the paper summarizes the theory on business model and on on.Meanwhile, research line and the theory used are depicted in order to decide the general frame of the thesis.The second part is the analysis of Liaoning Opera House’s present situation.The developing situation, performances in2011are introduced, based on which, theproblems and challenges of Liaoning Opera House’s art performance are studied.The third part is the analysis on the business model of art performance. Basedon the business model, the business model of art performance is presented for thefirst time in the paper. Then, the common business models of art performance arelisted. Furthermore, the comparative analysis of four models is presented.The fourth part is the choice of art performance business model of LiaoningOpera House. According the specific situation of Liaoning Opera House, the shortterm, middle term and long term business model are studied dynamically. Meanwhile,the key factors ensuring the feasibility of business model are interpreted.The fifth part is the measurement to ensure the business model construction ofLiaoning Opera House’s art performance. The measurement in the view ofgovernment’s supporting, opera’s innovation, symphony’s developing, talentperson’s culturing and marketing idea’s forming are presented in the paper.The final part is the conclusion and further study. On the basis of the description,research and analysis above, the last part gives out the conclusion and proposals.Meanwhile, the further studies are presented as well.
