This paper used qualitative research methods, that is participant observation, to explore and analyze an informal conversation groups, in rural areas which regards geographical advantage as the main link point,in order to interpret the operating mechanism and the existing form of this group, and to figure out its psychological function and significance.The results show that the internal dynamic structure of the group has the characteristic of spontaneity, geo-relation, openness and structure; the dynamic flow of group includes continuation and termination of topics, support and maintenance of the members of the group, which ensures the smooth running of group dynamics; the paper also paid attention an the group’s judgment, the attitudes and emotions towards the inter-group and outer-group. Second, the narrative content of the group focuses on the statement of "existence" and "loss" topic, which takes the form of "family gossip". Third, the paper discussed the psychological significance and functions of the group and found that members have place identity to the group; to some extent, the group is one kind of naive psychological counseling and treatment; groups also have the functions of child-rearing, caring for the elderly; the exchange of information, at the same time there is also some negative psychological impacts.The group Attracts members spontaneously, and the roles and position of all members of the group, as well as the impact occur subconsciously, which plays a huge social support and psychological soothing in rural areas, lack of mental health guidance.
