Development Model Of Creative Industrial Park In Hangzhou

Nowadays, the tendency of globalization is developing consistently; Creative industries are no longer just a concept, are important sign of a country or region’s overall competitiveness. For this reason, many countries and regions tend to treat their Creation Industry as strategic industry and pillar industry recently, such as England, United States of America and Australia etc. Domestic Creative Garden District is also vigorously developing under this worldwide historical background, for example, cities like Beijing, ShanghaiShenzhen, and Hangzhou etc., all treat Creation Industry Garden building as a key pole of urban development.Hangzhou has proposed to create "National Centre of Cultural and Creative Industry (NCCCI)." as an innovative pilot city in2007, and gradual established development goal of ten cultural and creative industry park in Hangzhou. In this paper, from the perspective of urban development, we combine this background with creative industrial cluster theory and analyze the formation of creative industrial development model and the internal features of park.In this paper, we employ multiple case studies as method, select West Lake Digital Entertainment Industrial Park and River Cultural and Creative Industrial Park, which are located in the Hangzhou West Lake District. First, a "urban construction elements" and "government elements" as main factors has been developed and established, the formation of development of cultural and creative industrial park and its intrinsic characteristics has been analyzed and summarized; Second, on the basis of the literature review, the initial conceptual model has been established; Third, after the case of analysis, the park’s "urban construction elements" and "government elements". and the formation of the creative environment has been summarized. The conceptual model also has been validated; Final, through cross-case analysis, the formation of development of park and its inner features of the creative environment have been revealed. An overall development model of cultural and creative industry has been got by comprehensive analysis of access to West Lake District.This paper’s conclusion:Firstly, the construction of investment and urban livability is essential to urban creative industry, regional development also have to take full account of mutually Coordinative between the two items; Secondly, the main strategy of park is the regional brand and creative class at this stage, while the park can not ignore the significance of infrastructure and quality of life, by direct correlation and impact analysis; Thirdly, this article analyzes creative industrial park development of the internal characteristics, conclude that the high demand and dependence is the basis of formation of creative industries park’s cycle development.Practice of enlightenment of analysis:First,at this stage,the development of Hangzhou’s creative industries shall be subject to approval by the government-led, to promote its industrial upgrade and park upgrades; Second, According to regional particularities and differences, we start the construction of creative industrial parks with adventagc items, such as creative class, infrastructure and outstanding quality of life; Third, this paper drawn creative industries development strategy at this stage in the West Lake Park District, through case studies. Such as infrastructure, its high degree of correlation is low impact, need consider its the long term development strategy; creative class, degree of relevance and impact are high, shall be equipped with sustainable development strategy.
