Secondly, with the paceof Anhua Xu’s thirty-year director career it is easily for us to track Hong Kong filmhistory, especially her innovation regarding film language in Hong Kong ‘New Wave’.Certainly, she follows some Hong Kong conventions. Thirdly, based on the formerbackgrounds this part emphasizes to summarize the art genre of Anhua Xu’s directorcreation. The specific movies of Anhua Xu, her classical pieces and after-90’s pieces,will be used to explain how to capture film details, like characterization, narrative,audio-visual language. At last, take the film production and commercial operation ofAnhua Xu as example, some useful advices for art movies will be given.
