The Film And Television Animation Roles In Action Research On Detail Design

The action of the character is the main body of the animated film,which is also the powerful expression means of the emotion of the character and the plot of the story.In this paper based on the action detail design,made the following research:first,the concept and function of action detail design.The detail design of character actions,commonly referred to the design of local link of movement,can embody in the main action and function as a bridge to that movement,such as subtle movements of the hands or an expression in the eyes.Moreover,it improves the depth and refinement of actions and also acts as an important criterion to the excellence of certain action design.And the successful detail design can help the action play a better role in role emotion,storyline and audience attraction.Second,The last three chapters discuss the action detail design in three aspects including shaping role,unfolding plot and attracting audience.First,the shaping process should consider the character's living background,physiological features,identity,occupation,personality and emotional factors.Second,the plot design should think about the plot promotion and enrichment and echoes.Third,audience attraction includes satisfying their needs,acquiring their respect and affecting their emotions.Finally,the action detail designed in this way can do better in shaping role,enriching plot and attracting audience.Third,sums up some characteristics of action details of animation role in America,Japan and China by means of case analysis and inductive summary.Based on the local culture and national character,several typical and successful cases about detail design are selected,different characteristics in every case are analyzed,and general rules of detail performance in these countries are summarized.In the US,animation action details are comprised of a large number of professional dance movements with coordination and strong rhythm.In Japan,the details are delicate and designed carefully,and the designers often beatify the character action when the hero dies and they are good at using some action modifier symbols.While in China,the details contain many special actions of Chinese operas and martial arts and the designers pay close attention to the performance of the verve.Therefore,the action detail design system of diverse culture and in different countries is formed.This paper seek for a new research foothold in the old studying area of action design,sums up a relatively complete theory of detail design,and captures researchers' eyes on detail design.The method introduced in this paper can provide more charm for animated roles.This has an instructivemeaning on action design practices in the future for many animation learners.
