The academia paid more attation gradually to the modern phonology research inrecent years,and the research for the history of Chinese dialect has made greatprogress, within the scope of hubei province, the research works of hubei dialect arespringing up emerging. These books are mostly based on the investigation of themodern hubei dialects, but the research work that through the historical materials ofthe Ming and qing dynasties was a rare thing. This paper based on a medical book hadwritten in the Ming dynasty by a man named WanMizhai which contained a largenumbers of poetry, in hopes of provide some new content to hubei dialect research.This paper includes three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. Theintroduction mainly discussed the significance and feasibility of the research, andintroduced the related historical dialect research paradigm and the main method, andresearch status.The text is the main body part of this paper mainly divided into four parts. Thefirst chapter in this paper has mainly introduced the literature material, the book hadwritten in Ming dynasty by " the saint of medicine "WanMizhai, this book is differentfrom other medical literature, it mainly consists of a large number of poetry, andprovides a very precious material for us to study the Luotian dialect four hundredyears ago. On the other hand, this chapter also introduced the geography, history,culture, and language situation of LuoTian of hubei province, and the life story andstudy situation of WanMizhai.The second chapter mainly expounds the style of rhyming verse and contact, andselects the feets by certain standard of ancient seven character jueju and "xijiang yue"Song Poems, and correct judgment feetword by these rulers.The third chapter basically compare the Luotian dialect and several mandarintone of dictionaries and the putonghua, in order to find the relationship and thedifferences between those three rulers. This article takes “Rhyme”"HongWu official rhyme","The brief understandable rhyme " and "hubei dialect survey word report” asthe mainly standard.The fourth chapter is the process of how this paper works,and also the mostimportant part. Firstly, it classified the situation of rhyme in the material into two partby the standard that if the rhyme matched with mandarin or not.The conclusion of the full text through comparing analysising the results of theresearch briefly discussed the causes of several conclusions and evolutionary process.
