More and more young farmers work into cities. Without the parents’ accompany, those childrenexperience psychological anguish and insecurity in study and life Based on the investigation ofquestionnaires and interviews, some problems of the mental health education in middle school foundare the following: first, most don’t pay enough attention to the mental health course, Second,examination-oriented education system plays a vital role in the course. Third, the courses are lack ofsystematical guarantee. Fourth, the professional teachers are of scarcity.This paper attempts to provide a new idea of the mental heath education from the perspective ofcurriculum development, creating a blueprint for the areas featured with export of labor services. First,integrated goals should be set at the macro, meso, and micro levels characterizing the entirety,pertinence, systematization and feasibility. Second, the spiral development of the contents should beconsidered, including the study consultation, the guidance of human relationship,andself-consciousnesses development. Third, the multi-level and comprehensive education executivesystem should be implemented. That is to say, the plan and system can be worked out by thegovernment, gradually propelled by the schools and supported by the families. Fourth, theprofessional teachers’ group should be refined.It’s a long-term and tough project for the mental health courses in those areas featured withexport of labor services.
