Economic benefits are the greatest motivation for them tolearn Chinese. Central Asian people learn mostly about Chinese daily greetings and businessChinese. Higher-level learners can learn China’s economic, cultural and other aspects. CentralAsian foreign investors pay attention to improve Chinese listening and speaking ability, whilehigher-level learners want to improve reading and writing skills. Central Asian foreign investorsrequire more flexible Chinese training methods. They want one or more years of study, as well asshort-term periods from three to six months. In terms of teaching scale, in addition to the popularone-on-one teaching, most of them are more willing to participate in a2-5people class. Theywould also like to study with foreign classmates in the same level. Central Asian foreign Chineselanguage training costs$2,000/year, and the price is acceptable, the price of one-on-oneteaching of¥100-150per hours is more appropriate. Most of the Central Asian Foreign learners are recommended by friends and family to select the training institution.Through a profound reflection on the findings on the demand of Central Asian foreign learnersfor Chinese learning, this paper brings up proposals to the Government and education authorities, universities and social education institutions and teachers of Chinese.
