Students’ learning state is a very important way to investigate students’learning effect. This paper based on previous studies, through thequestionnaire to the overseas undergraduate students from Chinesedepartment and the inland undergraduate students form Application languagedepartment of Jinan University, then use SPSS software to analysis the maininfluencing factors of each other.The results show that the overseas students’ learning state is in goodcondition, but the inland students’ learning state is not so good. Overseasstudents’ learning stat e are mainly affected by learning motivation,learning attitude and some other internal factors, but the inland students’learning state are mainly affected by the family, school, society and someother external factors.Finally, according to the survey, separately give some useful suggestions toimprove overseas students’ and inland students’ learning state.
