Uighur that has been living in the north and south of the Tianshan Mountains has its own distinctive culture in terms of national craftsmanship. Craftsmanship culture is one of the major sections in the studies of the folk culture of Uighur. It illustrates the natural living condition, traditional customs, aesthetic conceptions, religious believes, psychological traits of Uighur in a certain degrees.The art of craftsmanship of Uyghur women is an important part of Uighur’ s craftsmanship culture. With being varied and colorful craftsmanship enrich the cultural lives of Uighur’s and educate and exercise women’ s creative ability, reinforce cultural traditions.The art of craftsmanship of the Uighur women is a shining star on the stage of the art of craftsmanship of the Uighur.
