They have translated a lot of Indian medical works, have written a lot of ancient medical classic works as well. What’s more, they have trained many medical talents for the development of Tibetan medicine too.The Jangpa sect and Sukar sect with competitive development greatly promoted the development of Tibetan medicine theory in the14th century. As we all know, culture is no boundaries. Later Tibetan medicine spread to the nearby countries, and the most affected one is the Mongolia medicine.This paper briefly introduces the background of Tibetan medicine development from AD10-17century with the origin of Tibetan medicine, which has keys to translator RenQin Sangbo, young YuTuo on Four Classic Books of Tibetan Medicine revision, the Tibetan medicine contribution of Changdi Family and the inheritance and medical theory both of Jangpa sect and Sukar sect. It emphasizes the achievements and features of Tibetan medicine during this stage, which shows the prosperity of Tibetan medicine.What’s more, it analyses the influences in which the Mongolia medicine has by Tibetan medicine, according to the aspects of Tibetan medical literature and related theory, diagnosis, treatment and of medicine that were transported to Mongolia area.Nowadays, Tibetan medicine, not only serves for the native Tibet health, but also spreads around the China, even all over the world, for more people’s life and health service.Therefore, it has important significance to better study, understand, learn and develop the Tibetan medical development in this period by this paper.
