ObjectiveThe body of the children surveyed several common level of trace elements, as well as the relationship between trace elements and growth and development of children, analyze the affect of breastfeeding and artificial feeding of children trace elements.Detection of trace elements and clinical observations organic combination,to provide a new concept of children’s disease prevention for pediatric preventive, and look for a new breakthrough for pediatrician clinical diagnosis and treatment of pediatric diseases. To maintain the balance of trace elements in children’s blood in vivo and reduce the incidence of children micronutrient deficiencies and their growth and development of common diseases.MethodsWe do the research by cluster sampling method, and the research object is the children of community health service centers and health care for children in Shun Yu Road,Central City of Jinan between June2011and June2012,all the children under age5by systematic management (2620), exclude suffering from genetic disease, chronic illness, infectious disease and birth defects in children,selected0-year-old group,1-year-old group,2-year-old group,3-year-old group,4-year-old group,5-year-old group of240children,total1440children,and746cases were male and accounted for51.81%, female694cases and accounted for48.19%.Use the health inspection record form, the community to develop a unified test results report card and the children basic summary and test results table of Jinan children aged0-6years. To conduct a comprehensive physical examination, and blood and determination of trace elements for children who met the inclusion requirements. Take the ring finger of peripheral blood0.05ml to determinate blood by Mindray3000instrument and0.04ml to determinate serum trace elements using atomic absorption spectrometry by elemental analyzer. To make an overall evaluation of children’s blood trace element content, then do analysis of the trace element content of the blood and healthy children’s blood trace elements in comparison for the children with recurrent respiratory tract infections, growth retardation in children, children’s anemia, rickets in children group. Establish database by the EXCEL2007for data collection, and make logical error checking and sampling review to ensure the accuracy of data entry, and use SPSS18.0software for statistical analysis. Data are mean±standard deviation ((?)±S) and group design two sample t test and linear correlation analysis.Results1.1440children under5years of blood trace elements in the body distribution, zinc deficiency796cases, accounting for55.28%, iron deficiency544cases, accounting for37.78%, calcium deficiency264, accounting for18.33%,120cases of copper deficiency, accounting for8.33%, magnesium deficiency32cases, accounting for2.22%.2.1204-6months baby, the micronutrient deficiencies total of79cases, including59cases of artificial feeding, mixed feeding in5cases, and only five cases of exclusive breastfeeding.3. Children of different ages, different genders in vivo blood content of trace elements comparison, obtained by statistical analysis, various trace elements values at different ages, different genders was no significant difference (P>0.05), the lack of trace elements are quite serious.4. Growth retardation in children and healthy children vivo blood trace element content comparison. Growth retardation in children blood zinc, iron, calcium, copper, magnesium and trace elements were lower than healthy children, the difference was significant (P<0.01),it was statistically significant.5. Recurrent respiratory tract infections and healthy children vivo blood trace element content comparison.Recurrent respiratory tract infections are lower than healthy children’s blood trace elements in the body content of zinc, iron, calcium, the difference was significant (P<0.01),it was statistically significant.6. Anemia in children’s blood trace elements in the body compared to healthy children vivo blood trace element content. Anemia in children blood trace element content of iron, copper and zinc were lower than healthy children, a significant difference (P<0.01) was statistically significant.7. Rickets in children’s blood trace elements in the body compared to healthy children vivo blood trace element content. Rickets in children blood content of trace elements calcium, zinc, iron were lower than healthy children, a significant difference (P<0.01) was statistically significant. Blood alkaline phosphatase,24cases of30cases of rickets in children with blood in bone alkaline phosphatase values greater than250U/L, healthy group only five cases of bone alkaline phosphatase values greater than250U/L,the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05)ConclusionsChildren regardless of gender, age, children vivo blood micronutrient deficiencies are very serious. Zinc deficiency, iron deficiency is the most serious, followed by calcium, copper, magnesium deficiency is relatively small.1. Fewer breast-fed infants in vivo blood micronutrient deficiencies, more artificial feeding of infants in vivo blood micronutrient deficiencies.2. Five trace elements in children with growth retardation and recurrent respiratory tract infections in children in vivo blood, the first is zinc deficiency, and followed by iron and calcium.3. Five trace elements in the blood of anemia in children, the first is iron deficiency, followed by calcium deficiency and copper.Pediatric health-care workers and parents of children with emphasis on supplemental zinc, iron, calcium, and also to consider the role of copper.4. For the rickets children, the first is calcium deficiency, followed by zinc deficiency and iron. While calcium supplement should be added vitamin D, vitamin D can promote the absorption of calcium in the body of the children, to reduce children’s lack of calcium in the body, reduce the chances of children suffering from rickets. In short, the lack of blood trace elements in the body of children can not only consider the role of a single element, attention should be paid to the interaction and influence between the various elements. In the treatment of childhood diseases should give due consideration to the importance of micronutrient supplementation to reduce the incidence and prevalence of childhood diseases, promote children’s physical and psychological well-balanced development, to create a good quality of human to human development, improve the nation’s physical fitness has a positive effect, this study has some practical significance.
