Objectives:To search the roles of chemotherapy and anti-tumor activity of luteolin on lung cancer. Methods:With propidium iodide (PI) staining and Annexin-V FITC and PI dual parameter markers, effects were detected by flow cytometry of Luteolin on A549cell cycle and cell apoptosis to clarify the mechanism of role of Luteolin on preventing cell proliferation. The function of Luteolin on inhibition of cell migration was detected by mitochondrial membrane potential test and scratch test. The activity of inhibiting act ins was researched through confocal microscope, as well as chemotherapy effects of Luteolin with Cisplatin. Results:Luteolin could inhibit cell proliferation and migration apparently comparing with the control group. At the other hand, it can also enhance the anti-tumor effect of chemotherapy. Conclusion:The Luteolin has huge anti-cell proliferation potential through different ways:1. Luteolin could block the lung cancer cells cycle in G1phase and induce cell apoptosis;2. Luteolin could inhibit lung cancer cell migration3. Luteolin could enhance anti-tumor effect of chemotherapy.
