Objective: To study the effects of luteolin on bladder cancer T24cell proliferationin vitro inhibition and induction of apoptosis, possibly after transurethral resectionof bladder tumor chemotherapy offers a kind of new chemotherapy regimens, and has thepotential to reduce postoperative recurrence of bladder cancer provides a new researchdirection. Methods: The concentration of0.01mg/ml,0.02mg/ml,0.04mg/ml,0.004mg/ml of Luteolinand concentration is0.001mg/ml Mitomycin C role in the exponential phase of growthof bladder tumor T24cells after application of MTS colorimetric assay for cellproliferation inhibition. By DNA gel electrophoresis for detection of apoptosis. Results: luteolin concentration is0.01mg/ml,0.02mg/ml,0.04mg/ml on cultured bladdercancer T24cells significantly inhibited, compared to negative control group P <0.05,with statistical difference. Inhibition rate and concentration measurement dependence.Luteolin concentration is0.004mg/ml on cultured bladder cancer T24cells withoutinhibiting effect, compared to the negative control group, P>0.05, no statisticallysignificant differences. Positive control group of Mitomycin C on cultured bladdercancer T24cell inhibition in luteolin group, P <0.05there is significant difference.DNA gel electrophoresis the results show: blank control group and luteolin0.004mg/mlno DNA"ladder"; other groups showed varying degrees of DNA" ladder", showing apoptoticfeatures. That Luteolin on bladder cancer T24cell inhibition may be caused by inducingcell apoptosis. Conclusion: Luteolin at a concentration of0.04-0.01mg/ml on bladder cancer T24cellsby inducing apoptosis of cell growth inhibiting effect, with treatment of bladderneoplasms.
