Although more andmore people are trying to lose weight, such as through diet control,Strengthening the movement, there are also many people become over weight.Surgical operations is a way to lose weight, but because of the high risky, lesspeople likely to choose this way to lose weight. On the other hand, more andmore people used to choose alternative medicine to treat obesity, such asChinese herbal, low-calorie diet, and Acupuncture moxibustion. Acupunctureas one important part of Chinese medicine, now is used popularly in thetreatment of simple obesity, it has less side effects and very cheap and alsovery effective.In recent years, there are so many articles on acupuncture for simpleobesity, but the research methods and the quality of the articles need toimprove. The Effect of acupuncture in the treatment of simple obesity remainsto be evidence-based medical evidence to prove and improve. This research is based on the published articles collation and analysis, so as to obtain a morereliable conclusions, provide a more effective treatment for weight loss inobese patients.PurposeUsing Meta analysis method of simple obesity has been published literaturewere collected on the acupuncture treatment, and carries on the systemanalysis, evaluation, quantitative, so that the effectiveness of acupuncturetreatment for simple obesity, providing evidence-based medical evidence foracupuncture treatment of simple obesity, and to provide a more effectivetreatment for treatment for simple obesity, guiding clinical therapyMethodsThe large databases through the computer, carries on the reorganization to theretrieved documents, the selected literatures use Jadad scale to evaluate thequality of included studies, data collection, data analysis was performed usingRevman4.0software, and according to the data analysis results to drawreliable conclusionsResults111trials were included in2trials that the treatment group and the controlgroup, the total efficiency of no significant difference,1trials that the totaleffective rate in the treatment group than in the control group, with8references that the total effective rate in the treatment group than the controlgroup. The results of Meta analysis suggest that the treatment group and thecontrol group with significant difference effect. But because of the trials haveheterogeneity obviously, further subgroup analysis.2The11articles included in the study according to the different control groupwere further divided into the diet and exercise group and drug control group,respectively, subgroup analysis.
